Well-accomplished poet, Griot and Scribe on the Toronto poetry scene, he began a string of high-profile slam victories as the Victor of Up From the Roots’ Slam competition in 2000 and 2002, he is a foundational member of The West Side Cipher (a collection of progressive poets and event organisers in Toronto), and Unblind is the author of self-titled book, “:Unblind” which has been reprinted several times due to excess demand. “Unblind Uncut-live from the T-dot” was his debut CD which was also quite popular. He has completed many other projects and has plenty others on the go. He was co-host of Toronto's very popular Duel of The Iron Mic slam series, along with co-host heronJones.
