JD Vishus has been rapping since 1988 and started performing spoken word in 1994. Poetry and music go hand in hand for him and he uses both Hip Hop and poetry in his stage performances. JD has been on multiple compilation albums, including Toronto Poets' Love, Peace and Freedom: Increase the Peace album, and he has released his own solo full length album.
