Saturday Night Love at Ritz Caribbean Restaurant at 606 Yonge Street, Just north of Wellesley subway station.
Our teaching segment was, “The Importance of Early Childhood Education: The beginning of any journey is the most important part; often those who finish first will be the ones who have had the jumpstart,” by Karen Grant, a supervisor at a pre-school at a Boys and Girls club in Toronto.
This 31th consecutive week of Saturday Night Love our featured performer was Arts Minister Sharon Wickham a.k.a. Lady Roots, who brought us encouraging testimonies through spoken word.
Our talk show topic was,"Are there ways we can change the education system at the pre-school level to improve childrens' readiness to learn at the elementary school level?"
Our open mic theme was, “My R.T.D.K!…(My Response To Dream-Killers!)."
