The Increase the Peace Alliance is a loose affiliation of individuals and groups that look for ways to increase the peace in our society, locally and globally. The Alliance started the Increase the Peace Campaign at the end of 2002 in response to the murder of a high school student in Toronto. Since then it has worked with Toronto Poets to co-sponsor five Increase the Peace shows.
