Now performing at Toronto's souljazz hotspot Trane Studio (964 Bathurst St., 416.913.8197) and running a very popular open mic event named ACOUSTIC SOUL TUESDAYS on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, and Toronto Poets' popular weekly Saturday Night Love event which he co-hosts and DJs at, Hajile (also known as L.O.T.U.S.) speaks on subject matter relating to love, wisdom, spirituality.... LIFE in general. Hajile has two independently released CDs of his work available, namely: PETALS FROM THE BLACK LOTUS (2004/2005) and SUNFLOWER (THE REMIXES) (2005).

These offerings have guest performances, capella renditions and great spoken word over a variety of interesting beats.  Hajile is also a dj at Trane Studio souljazz lounge and goes by the name Black Lotus when carrying out this duties as sound provider, host and stage manager.

Besides Hajile's spoken word CDs, you can purchase DJ BLACK LOTUS MIX CDs as well, which feature nice selections of deep neosoul, jazzy hiphop and sultry slow jams.
